    <summary type="html">I recently found KDevelop as a C++ IDE to be similar to MS Visual Studio.  It also supports CVN and SVN.  It's not as good as Visual Studio but it isn't bad.</summary>

    <summary type="html">I tried Eclipse for a while, and it will certainly get you by. But, I found the Anjuta IDE much better.. They both have active development going on, but Eclipse is written in Java, which I think adds to it's bloat and performance issues I had with it.. anyways, that's my two cents.. :)&#xD;
